    C6501 Quality Control

All consumables are NEW! Except Cyan DV unit and Magenta DV unit... about 100K past the 600K life.

Just wanted your two cents before changing it out... CYAN for sure? right?

      DU104s ONLY....

New (PULLED) laser units old ones had 5M on them...
DV is NEW, DRums are all new (less then 15K), PM kits just done....

If i do a toner refresh it seems to go away for a while....

Think its DV UNIT as well...

if it was th DV unit why is there no repeating marks? print the regular cmyk test pages on 11x17.
diagnosing from a customer image is risky
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

which one 54 or 55? I am so used to drilling down to a specific color.

Think you're right, mark is back - DV unit was due - so i don't mind installing it...
Looks like cyan drum, its brand new. Dont get it.

                Re: C6501 Quality Control

So replaced DV unit because it was past due... new issue appeared. Faint white line going the 18" length of a 12x18 sheet dead nuts in the middle. Swapped drums, turned out corona failed in CYAN as swapping moved it to MAGENTA.

IF repeating mark comes back, def bad cyan drum (which is now in MAGENTA).

                $1700 Booklet Job - PAPER/TONER - DV UNIT - Corona Unit - DRUM = NO PROFIT.

Back to cup-o-noodles for me, who am I kidding more like Nissin Top Ramin for a while.....
