FWIW, can you scrap that hunk of garbage and get a real copier? its an ancient dinosaur that konica wont even support anymore. just saying..
with that off my chest..........

if i remember correctly, the USB driver is already on the BH420, once you plug it in to the USB port the driver comes from the controller itself, just follow the prompts to install and then follow the pdf i posted above.

heres some other relevant info you may find helpful.



Error

C-6701,C-6702

Root Cause
C-6701 or C-6702 shortly after power up. The MFP scans to home position and the exposure lamp lights. If code is indicated during the copy cycle, copies may be all black.


Workaround/Fix
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Failed Overall Control Board (OACB).
Check ICP3 on the OACB for the bizhub 360/420/500. Check ICP3401 (located closest to CN2501) for the bizhub 361/421/501). If the ICP is OPEN, check for shorts and replace the Overall CB (p/n 50GA -930 4O for bizhub 360/420/500 and p/n A0R5 H010 06 for bizhub 361/421/501).

2. A communication issue between the CCD and OACB. This issue usually appears shortly after replacing or removing the OACB.
Please check the flat cable between the CCD and OACB. Make sure it is undamaged and connected properly. Replace the CCD ribbon cable (p/n 50GA 9050 0) if reseating it has no effect on the malfunction code.

3. During startup the CCD sensor is not initializing properly. Light from the exposure lamp is not being reflected by the white patch located under the platen glass to the CCD sensor via the optics.Earlier ISWTrns version is being used.
The USB feature is available in ISWTrns utility version 3.73E and newer.

2. Incorrect setup procedure.
Correct procedure:
a. With the utility closed, plug in USB connector into PC and MFP in the power ON idle state.
b. When prompted to install the correct Konica Minolta USB driver, select YES, install.
c. Once installed correctly, right-click the ISWTRNS icon on the desktop.
d. Select Properties/Compatibility tab.
e. Under Compatibility mode, check "Run this program in compatiblity mode for Windows XP (SP2)".
f. Then check "Run this program as an administrator". Press Apply.
g. Select "Show settings for all users".
h. Select Continue.
i. Under Compatibility mode, check "Run this program in compatiblity mode for Windows XP (SP2)".
j. Then check "Run this program as an administrator". Press Apply.
k. Open the ISWTRNS utility and select Allow.
l. In the utility select the Setting button and set communication. The USB selection should now be available for use.

I have a similar problem on doing that, when I try to install the right printer driver (ISWtrns) USB, I only find one Konica Minolta make as appose to two where the other one is "Konica Minolta BT"
I ran windows update but the Konica Minolta BT does not appear. I am using win 7 OS. As a result of not finding the "BT" it completes with an error coz the other drivers don't have
the USB driver...Please Help
