    K7145 scan to E-mail error code N61

    The machine don't install the HD-103 Type-A!

    smtp port:25;
    pop port:110;

    smtp / pop server settings and utlook express the same!OE is OK...

    but scan to E-mail display N61 Can not connect to the network....


    How to Set???

    It could be that you need a mailbox setup for the email address that you are using on the copier.

    Sometimes mail servers have the security setup so that you require a mailbox with your email address attached to authenicate the emails that you are trying to send.
    Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

        Ensure the following:

        1. Default gate way is correct

        2. DNS is correct ( at a work station do an "ipconfig /all" enter all DNS addresses it displays + point DNS to the gateway)

        3. SMTP is correct

        4. Scan to Email is enabled

        5. Machine has a valid Email address Both machine address and key op address( make them the same )

        6. If the SMTP requires authentication, enter the authentication information under the POP setting and set to POP before SMTP

        If all of the above is correct and the address you are trying to send to is good, it should scan without issues. Provided of course there are not other things like firewalls and network rights restricting the copier.
