    [Misc] C1060 Toner Bottles TN-619, modify to use for C1060L .

    Hi !

    I need some info about these toner bottles (TN-619_C1060) and how i can modify them, for use in a L machine (c1060L_TN-620). If i cut the little guides in front of the bottle, the bottle does not fit again .
    So i suppose that i have to modify the machine's toner hoper too . (?)

      The end caps are easily pried off of the tn-619, and tn-620 bottles. Save the empty C1060l toner bottles and you can transfer the toner from one to the other. Just tape the empty to the end of the full one and invert.. tap excessively, voila! Toner is exactly the same formula.

      I only did this when my customer got rid of C1070 and was left with 2 C1060l's and a plethora of TN-619 . Too much of a PITA to do this on an ongoing basis. But If you are ambitious enough...

      Alternative would be to exchange the entire toner supply unit. Again, not worth the trouble.

      BTW C1060 drum units can be used in a 1060l with a quick modification too.
