clearly the feeds are swapped in position!

had another tech been out there or did the customer 'google' the issue and try a repair on their own?

Done and tested by an engineer. No plate and tyres wrong way around. Shocking really.

Well at least they used new style ribbed "pick up" roller. Unfortunately it was put in wrong place instead of the "sep" roller!

I hate following up on another techs screw up, and even worse if it was the customer does it trying to save money. Usually ends up costing the customer more money then if they just would called a "qualified" tech in the first place! You think it would be as easy as just swapping the sep roller but when I see something like this I have to go back over everything done, cleaning or replacing the one way clutches, scuffing up the shaft where clutch bearings touch, make sure tension spring is in right whole, etc.

wow! well this new roller sucks imo. its like fake. even if you rub it with your fingers can fall apart. i had replaced one of these at bypass and then i had to replace again with the older roller to feed properly. i had problems with heavier papers tough

The new ribbed rollers works great if you use OEM. I also use aftermarket red rollers and they work good.
