C6500 always saying please add toner

I have another weird one. I have a c6500 that always displays please add toner on all 4 colors. I did a toner density return but it continues saying please add toner. The machine never stops due to low toner just gives that warning. Any ideas?

toner density return? you mean a color calibration?

    is that all you did?

    checked the toner supply lines?

    cleaned the machine?

It's giving false information for example when customers try fo swap toners from another machine or they shake off old near empty toners and put them back into the machine. Atleast some other models will do it, as we don' t have these monsters in the field.

Possibly an issue with the toner feed assembly. I put a piece of tape over the developer inlet and run an add cycle. Then check the tape to see if toner fed. If not then replace/fix the toner feed assembly.
