C220 After jamming makes a ghost print. This is normal?

    Hi,

When my bizhub c220 has a jamm, the next print appears with the ghost print of the remaining transfer belt tonner of the jammed first print.

Is it normal? I think that transfer belt has a wiper belt that should clean all remaining tonner before next copy...

    Regards

It's entirely normal, and it's usually not primary transfer residual image that you're seeing, it's toner stuck to the heat roller. Since there is no web or other cleaning mechanism on these fusers the only way to clean off the rollers of toner left during a jam is to transfer it to the next piece of paper.

    And it works. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      exactly 'ghost transfer'

typical mono laser tech that: some never learned ... or for some old shits like me temporarily forgot.
