Does anyone know of a fix for the SMB scanning issues that started in the last couple days with windows 7 computers ever since the new update?

Any info would help.

A few of our customers have rolled back this week's Microsoft security update and it has worked. I think there's some documentation on the web regarding this issue and I believe Microsoft knows about it.

confimring that the recent SMB protocol errors are related to a set of windows updates that were included in the January 2019 rollout. The following 2 updates are creating the issues, KB4480960 and KB4480970. We have been succsfull in uninstalling KB4480970 only and scan to folder has been working correctly after this. These can be uninstalled from the programs/installed updates. The computer will reboot after install. To not have the hotfix reinstall, proceed to windows update, and view available updates, uncheck the KB4480970 and this show not allow the update to re-process.

Kyocera. Thought it may work with others too. One of my coworkers says it fixed a KonicaMinolta too, but he also had to create a new user and folder.

I really appreciate everyone's input!!! I am working with KonicaMinoltas also. I don't like rolling back any of the updates, I hope we find a work around!

I know!!! The Windows 10 upgrade sucked bad enough. Why did they mess with 7 ??
