    Bizhub C3350 cannot access admin mode or service mode

    Hi all. My boss picked up a couple of preowned C3350's from a wholesaler. Unfortunately, the previous owner changed the admin and CE passwords. I know the 4 and 4e series machines had a reset tool you could get from konica to factory reset the passwords and wipe all data. I was curious if there is a way to reset these either through the menus or using a reset tool. Any advice would be great.

    if both were changed i believe you need to replace the MFP board.
    We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

      That series actually would not let you in either mode if the firmware was not up to date. Have you tried going in the "back door"?

          have you tried releasing the access lock?
          4.1.3 Procedure for releasing access lock
          1. Touch Menu.
          2. Touch [Counter].
          3. Touch [Keypad].
          4. Press the following keys in this order.
          Stop -> 0 -> 9 -> 3 -> 1 -> 7
          (With this procedure, activate the access lock release timer to start timing.)
          5. When five minutes has elapsed after activating the access lock release timer, the access lock will be released.
          try the standard password after that.
          3 wrong attempts you'd get locked out again.
