Re: Error code C-5106 on Bizhub C8000
Workaround/Fix
C-5106 is a Main body Fusing control circuit initial communication abnormality. To troubleshoot:
1. Check the connection of the following connectors and the wiring between connectors. If any problem is found, correct it.
- CN57 (DC Power supply /1)
- CN642 (pantograph)
- CN643 (pantograph)
- CN632 (pantograph)
- CN638 (pantograph)
- CN300 (Conveyance drive board)
- CN301 (Conveyance drive board)
- CN150 (Printer control board)
2. Check wiring for a pinch under the developing tools cover if problem occurs after developer charge. An ICP may NOT be OPEN.
3. Check if ICP 16 on the Conveyance drive board (p/n A1RF H060 ) or ICP 23 on the Printer control board (p/n A1RF H050 ) is OPEN. If so, replace the problem board.
4. If the cause could not be specified by the above steps, replace the parts in the following order.
- Conveyance drive board
- Printer control board
- DC Power supply /1 (p/n A1RF M401 01)
- Wiring (p/n A1RF N205 00)
IMPORTANT: Please check the wiring harness(es) by unplugging all associated connectors, checking all wires to ground (for a short) and checking continuity of the wiring (for an open). We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...Comment

I have already changed the cards- Conveyance drive board
- Printer control board
- DC Power supply /1 (p/n A1RF M401 01)
and I have the same error code.
but when I unplug the ADU conveyance motor M39, the error code C-5106 disappears. On the other hand when I run an impression, I have a jam just before the 2nd transfer and the code C-E006 appears. After restarting of machine, code C-5106 returned.
NB: The ADU conveyance motor M39 engine was also changed

Re: Error code C-5106 on Bizhub C8000
I got it figured out for those who are having the same problem. The fuse ICP16 on the Conveyance board was blown... very hard to find. It is behind CN301 towards the middle front of the board. Label for it is about an inch to the left behind wire connector in the B cluster. Leading up to the problem, machine had C2223 which indicated the M40 2nd transfer motor. Replaced the motor and about an hour later went to c5106.
