    magiccolor 2400 heater fuser

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know if the heater fuser on a MC2400 printer can be replaced with other fuser from KM? The problem is that KM is selling the whole fusing unit which have almost the sot as the new printer.
Did anyone replaced this fuser with other spare part?

    Thanks a lot.

I don't think the units are the same as any other units.

One of the problems we ran into with the Magicolor/Pageworks lines were the pricing on the parts is very prohibitive to making a profit. Units and assemblies needing replaced instead of individual components makes for expensive repairs and expensive service agreements. We consequently stopped carrying them for this reason.

Sorry, as far as I know, no subs. I am sure an aftermarket supplier has a refurbished one cheaper. Time to Google.
