[Misc] C203 new transfer belt came with yellow toner residue

    Hi!

I just received a supposedly new transfer belt for a bizhub C203. It looks like it has yellow toner residue on the rear, mainly the grey plastic guard, but some on the gears and the belt itself under the plastic guard. Ist this normal because it is tested in a machine?? Or did I maybe receive someones return? Or some "refurbished" stuff?

The part number is A02ER73022 and I never found out why there is also a part number A02ER73011. Any difference?

I see it on almost all of the belts I replace. I assume it's used to prime the belt cleaning unit.

Yes that is normal. They use yellow toner to lubricate the the blade. For some reason yellow toner is best color for lubricating blades, belts, drums, etc. On new machines the transfer roller will be yellow. Actually I have used this when buying super low meter machines, if trans roller wasn't yellow I know that meter wasn't legit.
