External Monitar with Fiery IC408

Hi Trying to hook a external monitor to my fiery but after the section screen (VGA Mode) just goes to black am i missing an option.

no, the embedded controller does not, however, use remote desktop into the Fiery from any other pc and run CWS from there remotely. (i use an old laptop or PC the customer is not using anymore) sitting on the paper feed unit.
thats the best way to go.
the FACI kit is for the external IC-30X controller

Just to be clear the IC408 does not use a FACI card?

I have 2 IC408 fiery's one i can connect a monitor to and other goes a blank screen. I printed the specs sheet and they look identical..

maybe a graphic arts package?
some other option must have been enabled/licensed to get the vga card to display past the boot screen.
honestly never had a piggyback fiery with a monitor
