    KM bizhub 3320 errors 900.00

    Good evening,
Got call to see this machine for taking multiple sheets, went there and found it with 'system timeout error'.
After restart it comes up with BSOD 'firmware error 900.00' even with network cable disconnected.
Another restart, another BSOD 'firmware error 900.00'. Eventually machine will boot normally, according to customer if they leave it unplugged long enough, have no time to wait for that resurrection.
I will follow troubleshooting steps found in SM and service info, will make FW update to latest and greatest, but as usual any shortcuts and ideas are welcomed.
    TIA.

As you probably know this is a rebadged Lexmark. Typical fixes for 900 firmware errors are:

    1) Firmware (duh)
    2) Bug in the print driver. In the PCL print driver select the font option: Download as bitmaps.

    =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well, I will follow that later. Took out machine and replaced with same model
So I guess drivers issue will be sorted if replacement machine is fine.
      Stress testing poor captive tomorrow.

Did FW update, tested machine in our environment, so far so good.
Meanwhile other 3320 is working, hopefully FW will be the culprit.
        Thanks again.

Re: KM bizhub 3320 errors 900.00

I had another Lex Friday with the 900.00 errors only when printing from one PC. The other three PC's are fine. The problem PC is the oldest: Win7-64 and still had a 2010 driver, and the machine had original firmware. The print driver probably fixed it, but I did the firmware too. =^..^=
