    C458 Function Version 3.2 to 4.2

    Hi guyswould like to update the graphic interface(function version) of a bizhub c458 to version 4.2.

    Although installing the latest firmware avaible, but the machine remains at function version 3.2

    Tips?the latest firmware available

      Have you checked the Firmware Notes associated with the FW that you loaded? They generally include steps for upgrading/downgrading function version towards the bottom of the notes.

          Soft switch 25 sets the function version..I believe it would be A0 for 4.2..Keep in mind that a function version upgrade may add some new protocols or even remove something..so you can induce problems with scanning and printing..E

              B0 is the latest for w firmware.
              We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
              The medication helps though...

                  Nope, soft switch for function version 4.2 must be B0 as Synthohohol mentioned. Check file coming with FW version to level other software, drivers, etc.

                      also make sure the driver support version 4 and on
