doest it need the firmware to be updated?

if someone can advise what is the latest firmware and share it. Will be great help.

You tried to reset the error code as follows
System1 -> Initialization -> System Error Clear
Check the harness connection between the CIS and Dual scan image processing board (DSIPB). Then check between CIS and CIS Power Supply (CISPU).
Replace the CIS and check for reoccurring error.
Replace the CISPU if either fuse is OPEN and check for reoccurring error.
Check the following fuses on the CIS Power Supply (CISPU).
F1 - For 12V DC
If OPEN, replace the CISPU.
F2 - For 5V DC
If OPEN, replace the CISPU
If all of the above is good
Update the base fw (G00-K5)
Or the special fw (GC1-K2)
