Not sufficient fusing of the thick paper on 1050

Guys, do you have any idea what's wrong with fuser if thick paper 220gm2 is not sufficient fused, customer uses glossy paper and customer settings on the machine is OK, I haven't tried anything so far I just got the call about this issue. Thanks

It's brand new machine, about 200K

It might be the paper. Was it working until now? What is the humidity in the environment and where the paper was placed?

Customer found this issue out lately, he haven't worked with this paper so far. Probably is nothing wrong with fuser ( brand new machine ). It is maybe thing of setting up the fuser temperature. Do you have any experience with setting of temperature ? It should be DIP SW 19-0,1,2,3.
I haven't played with that so far, so I am not sure how much shall I set it.

Customer uses the same paper in C450 next to biz 1050 and there is fused properly.

The easiest solution is "try and error" with the software switches. Play with it until you get the right results.
I have the same problem with a C6500

Guys, today I have played with temperature and I sorted it out. I increase +5 degrees and I got nice smooth fusing on thick glossy paper.

This issue can be sorted it out by choosing of embossed paper, it works same but there is possible to set up only max 209 gm2 paper.

One more thing: these machines came with two types of fuser units: with soft and hard roller. From my knowledge, the soft rollers came later and were addressing the issues you had.
                Hope that helped.

yeah, I know. I got hard roller. Customer doesn't use embossed paper I meant If customer has problems with fusing of toner There can be used setting for embossed paper with normal thick paper in the tray.

CAUSE: On certain types of paper, poor fusing occurs due to the type coatingon surface of the paper.
SOLUTION: When experiencing a poor fusing condition on heavier stock, set the paper type to Embosssed. The embossed setting will increase the heat of
the fixing unit and will also slow the output slightly to allow the paper more time in the fuser.
