I tried printing a large job to our copier (~1,200 pages), and in receiving it, it froze at about 1,040 pages. It stayed frozen for a while, so I decided to delete it so I could break it out into two smaller jobs.

However, in the job list, this has been stuck on "deleting" for about an hour now. It cannot print anything else because the job list is stuck deleting this one.

Please help!

- When I say "deleted" I did so from the job list on the copier, NOT on the computer

Hi it is sufficient to turn off and switch on from the main switch. The job will be canceled. Open the front cover, you'll find a switch on the left.

is the job so large because its multiples of of smaller jobs?

eg 1000 pages of a 100 page doc printed twice?

if so make sure you set the amount of copies in the driver not in Adobe/MS Word

If you tell it 10 copies in word it becomes a 1000 page doc. afaik if you set 10 copies in driver it only spools the 100 page doc and just knows it need to print that 10 times.

in my experiance with printing at schools it reduces spool time
