    SMB 2.0

    Hi,

I kindly to ask, the 8 series and i series both support SMB 2.0 on network scanning?

    Best regards,

    Yes, it also supports SMB3.0
For security, you could update the firmware

        Hi, no dipswitch required.

You can use dipsw 162-02 to disable SMB routing and you start from SMB2.0 minimum

          Re: SMB 2.0

          I found this :

Admin setting->Network setting->SMB server setting->SMB server common setting
Inside there have one " SMB auth. protocol ", SMB1.0 and SMB1.0/SMB2.0 either one can be selected.
Here I can set it for the scan to server on SMB 2.0?

BTW, KM don't provide full detail of DipSW on service manual, how we can get this stuff?

                Thank you for your information.
Once I check that DipSW first.
This SW219, what the difference with SW162?

You need to install the GDB firmware outlined in the above bulletin first then worry about the dip switch

Like Synt mention, with or without Dip Sw settings it will work with SMBv2 as soon as you install minimum FW version required.
Imho, do read more manual before posting new threads and try to follow up, never seen you reply with outcomes.
