Ok. I have the service manual and have swapped lots of units on lots of machines, but this has me stumped. Seems fairly simple to remove the two screws and harness and slide unit out, but it refuses to slide out! What am I missing?

They stick sometimes so all you have to do is pry the top part away from the pin it is stuck on. It always sticks on the top pin in my experience, if it does stick.Started in the copier service business in the fall of 1988 and worked at the same company for 33.5 years, becoming the senior tech in 2004 but left to pursue another career on 4/29/22. -

Yes. Just carefully use a small screwdriver or something similar and gently pry it out from the frame, right next to the pin.
