A Konica Minolta dealer tried to explain to me last week how firmware is updated on the new iSeries copiers.
He drew a circle with six spokes extending from it.
He said to update the firmware you had to update anyone of the six spokes independently of each other implying that firmware updates are a bit like playing wack-a-mole.

Is that at all accurate?
It's not very clear. When you update the firmware, it also updates all the options, as has always happened with the other previous series.
