Start with reseating connectors.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

The fuser is basically at the top of the machine while the laser unit is clear at the bottom with lots of other stuff between the two. Unless they both get power through the same circuit, which I seriously doubt.Started in the copier service business in the fall of 1988 and worked at the same company for 33.5 years, becoming the senior tech in 2004 but left to pursue another career on 4/29/22.Comment

Re: Bizhub C3100p error
Funny that you mention that ... I've seen that too on a C25! If the customer latches the front of the fuser, but not the back they'll get 0130 (laser shutter malfunction) and 0094 (second transfer drive failure). The way I figure it the doorswitch actuator opens the laser shutter. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Bizhub C3100p error
Here is what I did:
I first reseated the connectors on the boards in the back (MFP/PRCB). Didn't work. So i dove in and removed the PH (Laser Unit). Lord what a job. I reconnected the connectors at the laser unit and reassembled it all. It is now working!!! Didn't touch the fuser.
Thanks for the help!Comment
