    7035 IP-421 and Win XP

    Hi All

    New user and novice.
I have purchased a used 7035 with all the options and I am in the process of getting it to print via the IP-421 print controller.
At present I am using the parallel port interface until I can get it put on my home network.
But my Win XP pc asks for the driver, which it finds on the net but then asks for the IP-421 Dics 1.
I never received any disks with the unit.
Q1 is there anyone who knows where I can get one (download) from the net??
Q2 has a copy I can purchase (original naturally)

    Or other work a rounds.??

I plan to run it via the network soon..

Thanks for you help in advance

    Try this:

    onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download

Lots of drivers to be found there!
    Regards!

      Thanks for the Info
I have already been to this site and tried a few of the drivers for XP.
The PCL and Postscrip ones seem to work..
But when I do a test page it just prints off numerous pages of data code.
And looking at the job list on the copier it just grows and grows when the PC has only sent one page.

I may need to do something with the controller??

Any help would be appreciated as I am not going to try and set it up on the LAN if I cant get it to work directly via the parallel port.

      Thanks

I have found a more interactive web site in Aussie.
Lets you select the engine type, then controller and finally what OS.
        Nice and easy.
        Worked a treat....
Now its time for the network setup.

i agree this usually happens when a ps file is sent to that controller and the ps chip is not installed. Try printing using a pcl driver and a non ps file and see if it print ok then.
