Bizhub 554e jam duplex code 93-10

    Hello guys
I have a bizhub 554e with constant error 93-10 when trying to print or copy duplex.
I have cleaned the ADU unit and Registration Unit.
I have changed the solenoid assy (P/N: Α161Ρ72644) but the problem still remains.
    Any suggestions?

Check two duplex sensors and their actuators and springs.

      Yea could be that.
The sensor on the reversal unit it for the fuser exit. Its on the door side on top.

Got distracted with the solenoid the spring there and the gate.
Looks like it jams into the gate but no...

      The actuator holder clip breaks.
What makes it strange is that it works just fine doing single sided prints but
otherwise continuously or intermittently jams double sided.

Tried glue... no good gets hot there. Plastic goes brittle from the fuser heat.
3 pieces of a paper clip.
1 piece to make a u shape to hold the actuator where the clip on the assy body broke.
1 piece to keep shaft and flag from moving to the one side.
1 piece to keep it from sliding to the other side.
That keeps the flag free to pop back and keeps it in position.

The paper clips gets clamped between the metal sensor brkt and the metal base plate.
Will try and remember to take photos.

Hi allan. Any new findings on that 93-10 jam. Was it duplex sensor and how you fixed it?

I've seen 93-10 jams on the bizhub 808. It was caused by the lower duplex sensor flag being worn down. It's kind of a pain to get to, so I did a durable MacGuyver.

At 500K duplex/1M simplex images the lower duplex flag had worn 2.5mm shorter. I took one of those two-hole paper fastener strips (Office Depot Brand Paper Fastener Sets 1 Capacity 2 34 Base Box Of 50 - Office Depot) and Dremeled out a metal strip 2.5mm longer than the worn flag and epoxied it onto the flag. When dry I ground a rounded end onto the metal tip.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Not been working on these for a while. Paper clip trick seemed to hold up.
