    IKON CPP650 and IC305 - Any Settings?

Are there any settings or patches that are needed for the IKON CPP650 when using the PRO80 IC305...

I remember with the S450 it would auto detect or didn't care...

    thanks,

the last patch for the fiery was 4 years ago.
the last FW update for the copier was in 2014.

in this case my favorite saying is "if it ain't broke, dont fix it."

i would be hesitant to take on this dinosaur under a contract, gonna be harder and harder to find parts.
IIRC konica toners have to have nubs cut off the bottle to fit the Icon model.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

we still run a C6501, have two extra ic305, sold it online, wanted to see if there was any IKON shenanigans or a dipsw.

while i understand your statement, knowing your intent will bring me clarity so i can see how i can help.
please elaborate, are you trying to use konica flavored fiery version on an IKON?
if so i had an cpp650 years ago and didnt realize when i reflashed the SS to konica after a crash (didnt know there was a difference) and all hell broke loose.
we had to buy and next day air to reinstall the IKON version SS.
my bad, but i found out the hard way.
machine was fine though, iirc it didnt see any of the options on the copier and would error out every other job test.

good luck if thats the case, hope you fare better than i did.
