3 Week after replacing the drum unit this machine has thrown a C2557 code. Is there something that we Would that cause this code to come up?
Thanks Hoosierdaddy
A quick google says that most likely cause is replacing the drum without replacing developer.... Did you replace the developer? If you did are there any maintenance\service\counter settings that can be run\updated?
+1 on that. From the looks of it, it looks like the relative of a bizhub 361, prone to that sort of thing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
It could be good news if the machine is making a clacking noise as it tries to feed toner.
There is a stud that can break out of the toner feed assy it got riveted to. Its got a gear that is part of the train that makes the bottle turn.
Electromagnets goes wrong on the same assy. Then there is the sub hopper...

501 like a 601. More Konica than Minolta. Would have been a more lovable machine if it did not piss toner all over its own bottle position sensor.
And needs a web. They did work. Tweakable...
282 Its a 250 just a different color. It came along way from Dialta similar engine. Now they are truly done. Don't mind them.
You can tune the TCR gain and charge on these. So if the print looks ok put your gain up bit by bit until its stops moaning, then leave it to ride or be brave and F8.
The B423 is a marvel no more C2557 C2558 and the dev just keeps on going.
