Test for 5.1V and 24V on the respective pins as per the manual. PJ1 on CCDB to CN7 on the MFPB. Check on both ends or do continuity test on the harness. F8E on the MFPB is the only ICP that relates to the CCD unit i can find in the manual. So worth checking. Should be in the area surrounding the plug for CN7. If all the voltages are present grounding pin 16 LAMP_REM to pin 1 GND should turn the LED's on. If the LED's come on then MFPB does not switch it on for some reason. If the voltage are not present then DCPB not supplying it to the MFPB or there is a fault on the MFPB .

The error does not mention the MFPB but i don't know how the power detection that triggers C-6756 work so cant rule anything out.
            Whatever

Ok changed my mind about switching the lamp manually. Use a pull down resistor at first if you need to like a 1Kohm resistor to limit possible current.
Disconnect wire for pin 16 going to MFPB first. That would be the right approach if testing that is meaningful. I would just do it by grounding pin16, bit that is me. Please keep the smoke inside.

Found the trouble shooting in the manual a rough guideline to follow.

Stuff is expensive and going there to change out parts one by one does not fly.
