    IT5 image quality Cyan/Magenta "Spots"

    Hello comrades

    We have more and more problems with "spots", which are particularly noticeable in halftone printing. The error picture as shown in the appendix, yellow comes through in red print. It is similar with green.
    The spots appear to be 99% of the time on magenta and cyan, which lack color. Although the TCR values all look normal. Do you know the symptoms or maybe even have a solution?

      Latest firmware, function version 4.2 or later.

      Service mode, image process adj, page 2, charge control, immediate adjustment, cmyk or k. Start.

      Can be set to auto adjust Which will do adjustment for all colours when main power is switched on.

      Theres a document on Knova about this.

          It looks like magenta developing to me. Try these originals:

          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Thank you Tech51, Firmware should be X4 and function version 4.2
              Do you have a document code for me? i looked for something similar but was not able to find anything specific. Just that it has been implemented with the firmware

                  i did play around with the voltages, with no satisfying results.

                  in the end i replaced, the developing units DV-313 and drum units DR-313 for cyan and magenta.
                  also a new transferbelt unit was needed.
