    C2070 with Fiery ic-313

Scanning? wont scan to FTP, or SMB.
FTP works from C451 in same location...
It will store on BOX and SCAN to BOX.
    just cant access...

I can get to web utilities from Fiery... (remote panel, remote...)

does it need a 3rd ethernet...like the 951 needed two direct connections... has an unused port, but where do you set the IP?

never scanned before - it will scan to box.
Fiery remote scan scans 3 pages then fails.....
    so its talking....

you setup scanning on the main box, the fiery need not be adjusted\configured.
the fiery should be just a passthrough device if anything.
just setup regular SMB scanning or email.
make sure DNS and all that is proper.

fiery scan is like twain, such a needless pain in the ass.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

set DNS in the fiery? or on the NIC setting on the engine on the internal address 100.100.100.1 (FIERY NETWORK2) ---direct connected--- main body nic 100.100.100.101

        Tapped out for the night....

tried everything. now when scanning to FTP just hangs as a reserve job....

2 network ports on back of main do I need more then just the network and serial/HDMI clone cable from the fiery to engine?
        There is an extra port.
