    Need help printing 5.5" x 8.5" booklets on C550i

    Hi

    I have a Konica Minolta C550i.

I need to print booklets that will be 5.5" x 8.5" when finished. It will have 24 pages total.

Does anyone have instructions on how I can do this?

    Thanks
    Greg

Assuming you have a folder..11X17 in tray or bypass..8.5 x 11 in ADF (1 or 2 sided). Go into finishing options and choose saddle stitch, or if you don't have a stitcher you would just basically perform the same operation by choosing booklet mode, selecting your options and then fold them your self when done. Printing is the same. E

      Use the bypass.
For small formats, in the first drawer you will find an accessories for small formats.

Load 8.5x11 SEF. Setup print job to fold, or fold and staple. Send to whichever tray you put the paper in and it should finish as 5.5x8.5 once folded.

To do 5.5 x 8.5 start with full letter size originals on the screen not paginated just in 1-x order and just select booklet and the landscape letter tray.
Machine will rotate, reduce and paginate correctly.

If you print jub is from publisher just select half fold and staple then make sure booklet mode is OFF.

I hate publisher, it was made for analog machines lol.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

            Purchased machine without user manual

Yep!!! End user doesn't realize that all the pagination is done in the print driver!!!...and because of that, the double page spread layout doesn't work the way they expect it to!!!...single pages with pagination in the print driver is the key![emoji57]
