    Jam 72-17 on BH808

I have a BH 808 with the FS-536 finisher. I cant figure this jam out. I have replaced the entrance sensor and modified the cam for the guide that usually causes this entrance jam with no luck. Bout to start cutting wire ties. Any other ideas?

We've seen plenty of those finisher inlet mylars wear. There is a 90 degree fold in the edges that contact the paper, so when it wears through you've got a 3mm wide flap of mylar to catch the leading edge.

Roll back the finisher and remover the inlet where the mylar guides are. I typically make new mylars from what I have handy. Or if you can do a neat job of it, trim away that 90 degree fold that snags the leading edge.

I've usually seen J72-18 or J72-22 in this situation.

How do the regulating plates look? Paper cuts? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Very familiar with those problems on the 4e series. This machine however only has 300k on it. Mylars and Jogger guides are good. Its been having this jam since about a month after it went in. I have motors and main board on order. Dont have high hopes for them though.
