    Service Mode C-3350

    Is it possible to get in service mode without CE Password. For excampe by producing an C error. Thanks advanced!

    Nope.
    Well if you do login and go stop 0 clear you can disable the ce password.
    We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

        You must have the CE password just to get into service mode..Stop 0 C would be to disable after you log in. I know you can get to service mode by doing a trouble reset and entering the basic SM key sequence, but again you might still be prompted for a password. If you don't know the password you will need KM assistance to change this. E

          also keep in mind those lock you out of service mode after 3 failed attempts

          but i managed to bypass the password on a 4 series a while back by unplugging the fax kit, wait for c code then press ok and it popped me straight into service mode so it might be possible on a 3350. i then disabled CE authentication while i waited for my password reset token code from KM to be generated

            I know the lock after 3 failed attempts. But reset as described in service manual didn't help.
            I produced error 5702 (maybe 5701) without success.
            Last I initialized in admin mode - security - security details. Now it's possible to enter service mode with standard CE password.

              did u wait the 5 minutes before restarting printer and trying again? oh well u got it working in the end either way
