This old 363 was working fine and sometimes in a month time it gave away C2650 but was working after reboot. A power surge bring this to state of stuck on hour glass. Tried reset NVRAM but screen goes blank after hourglass when there is supposed to be reset screen. Same beahvior is with the FW usb stick. Any help?

maybe the battery on the nvram is shot. its an old machine after all.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

NVRAM battery is as good as new. Still 3.09 volts on it. Infact I have never seen these batteries die. I had few NVRAMS with same bettries laying around since years and betteries are still good.
I belive the MFPB is gone as it hangs up after powering on with utility button. I even experiment with an older NVRAM, it did gave CD390, but screen does not resond beyond that . I'll do some more expriments and will let know of outcome. Some free time nowadys.
Going to dump anyways.
