    Bizhub 1060 error 4506

    Good day

    I've been having a problem with a Bizhub C1060 the last week.
    Every morning with switch on I get an error code 4506. After reset it will work the rest of the day with no problems. You can even turn it of and on without problems till the next morning.

    I've tried a recall factory settings, colour registration, skew adj according to the manual. (page 1941 of the service manual) everything goes fine untill the next morning.

    Any suggestions?

        Not sure why my answer above is blank.. Maybe lost in the move?

        C-4506 is an error with the index position for the magenta laser.

        You want to put it back into the home position. Do this by entering service mode, going to state confirmation and run operations 35-17, 35-18, and 35-19 in order.
        This will return the laser index to it's home position.
        After this is completed you will need to run the automatic color registration under the printer adjustment screen.

        If you get an error, you will need to check, and/or replace the magenta laser print head. It could also be an issue with the transfer belt unit, but that usually shows up as a yellow error.
