    Baby Dinosaur, Lamp error

This little dinosaur BH-240f, with the customer for at least 15 years, shows "Lamp Error". The customer, a kind old lady, begs me to take a look at her machine because she got so much used to it. Before I go there to clean the lamp and under side of the glass platen as well as the white strip, I would like to know if any of you guys had this before and if before mentioned cleaning would solve the problem or do you advise else?

Think it was the same as the Muratec MFX2550/2570 unit. I would clean the slit glass etc & run a back ground level check. If I remember it was Hold down the mode button until the machine beeps twice then push *09 to enter. It should be listed. Also, check the time on the machine.
