Bizhub C224e Card Reader

Hi all,

Do you know if it is possible to make a generic card reader to work with the Bizhub C224e printer?

If not which card readers are currently available?

The C224e can use the AU 201H, 205H, barcode, magstripe or RFIDEAS (AK0)...If you could get your generic card to work like a AU-205 in KBW mode if you can find the USB/VID codes for it..There is a place in the authentication settings that used these codes for the older machines (new LDDs have this already programmed in). What is a "generic" reader?

For this model I always use YSOFT Reader v2 Multireader LF + HF

Generic, I mean a cheap card reader from Amazon, our model is KKMOON 14443A which reads MIfare Classic 1K. To give it a try i should look if there are any avaialble dirvers/codes for my device, right?

Still need to know if your generic card is a CCID reader or keyboard wedge. There are no KM LDD drivers for this particular reader.

Hi again,

I want to enable the autenticatin method device. When I go Adminisrator Settings -> User Authentication -> Authenticathion Device Setting is missing.

Am I skipping a previous step? I have access to Service Mode.

Hi i am thinking buying a new card reader OMNIKEY 5022 which is the same brand as the au-201H. Do you know if the driver for au-201H will be compatible?

Au-201H is the Omnikey 5325, so no, it won't work.
