    KM C4070/SD513 jam

    Hi Guys,

    Edit: sorry the title is wrong

    meant to be Develop Ineo+4070/SD513

    we have a brand new DEVELOP INEO+4070 machine that has a strange issue,

    the machine has an SD513 booklet finisher, when we send a booklet from the machine itself (test prints) it prints fine, when we try to send a booklet to the IC609 the machine jams on the first page with jam code 76-35, We have updated the firmware on the machines, triple checked the settings for the booklets, reconnected all connections, tried different paper stock to no avail,

    we do have a 3rd party engineer checking it and this is the info he has relayed to us,

      So does it jam on any other settings or just booklets?

          just booklets, normal stapling functions and prints work fine

              Go through the initial setup adjustments again. One of my setups was far enough out of adjustment that the paper hit the booklet maker side guides, and wouldn't pass a single sheet. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  so we have done the initial set up adjustments again and issue still persists,

                  below is the current info sent from 3rd party engineer which we have also sent to DEVELOP and are in talks with Germany,

                  Doing books in test mode (service mode).
                  Test 16 -> output options -> fold and staple ->trim/spine forming or not.
                  Machine produces books whatever the number of sheets. 2, 3, 5, 10, etc. but no through the IC609

                  There is no specific job.
                  Any attempt to print a book from Job Centro, whether is already imposed and then just ask to fold and staple, or if the imposition is used to create a booklet, results in J7635.


                  Mainly drag and drop the PDF in Job Centro.
                  Although, driver has been used as well.
                  While in the queue, if the file is already imposed then, just add fold and staple (trim/spine optional).
                  Otherwise use the imposition.

                  Just to reiterate, this jam code J-7635, happens when printing from IC609.


                  Running through test mode, machine works fine. I can make all sorts of booklets – square spine (or normal), trimming (or no trimming, any amount of pages.

                  Uncoated satin finish 90-120gsm media. A3 /A4

                  Configuration consists of Develop ineo+4070 + IC609 +SD513.

                  There is not PF or LU or FS, there is no RADF – Just a basic cover.
