    Konica Minolta bizhub C658

Konica Minolta bizhub C658 making a clicking noise coming from right side of machine. Firstly thought it was the fuser unit but did not remedy after replacing. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Does if make the noise just after printing when the device is idle ?

It makes the noise when not in sleep mode. I'm thinking it may be the fusing drive unit needs to be replaced. Thank you for your suggestions.

If was a betting man the machine is over 1M and the plastic shaft holder on the yes left side(front of machine) of the switchback unit is worn out and on its way out.
If its got a finisher on it the noise will project inside the machine. If there is a finisher on take that of and see if the last set of exit rollers jitter.
          Whatever

Ok I lost the bet and watched the video. Its happening during fuser rotation. There is a bomb of some sort planted in the fuser drive is you are sure the fuser has been eliminated. Still got a cleaning roller on the fuser? Run it with the door open and listen if you can get closer to the issue. Or run it with the rear cover off as well.h

Happy hunting please let us know.

Around 2M you will most likely have to rebuild the Fuser Drive, not sure of your volume but it's certainly worth it to take a look at the drive.
