Konica c650i admin password from copier menu

Hey guys got my new fiery all set up and connected. Got the icon to pop up on the copier tablet. when i click it to get into it and configure anything its asking for a password. I have tried 0000 and Fiery.1 none of which works. Any help would be appriciated.

Did you tried default Konica Minolta administrator password?

read the instructions with the Fiery.

ReadMe: How to obtain the Fiery password
To log on to the Fiery Windows OS or the Fiery server as an administrator or operator, you must obtain the Fiery password.
Note: References to the Fiery Windows OS password in this document only applies to Windows-based external
      servers.
      To obtain the Fiery password
1 Make sure that the Fiery server is connected to the printer.
2 Print the Fiery Server Configuration page from the display panel on the Fiery server or the printer LCD panel.
3 On the Fiery Server Configuration page, look for ID in the BIOS Setup section. The alphanumeric characters in the ID
field is the default password for the following:
      • The administrator password for the Fiery Windows OS.
      • The administrator and operator password for the Fiery server.
4 After you log on to the Fiery server, change the Fiery password for Fiery Windows OS and the Fiery system to prevent
      unauthorized usage.
Note: Use Configure in WebTools or Fiery Setup Wizard to change the Fiery password.
      Notes on the default password
      • The Fiery documentation may mention “Fiery.1” as the default password. Do not use this password when you log on to
the Fiery server for the first time. Instead, use the password obtained in Step 3.
      • If you reinstall the Fiery system software or restore factory default settings, the administrator password will be replaced
by “Fiery.1”. Use “Fiery.1” to log on to the Fiery server and change the password for Fiery Windows OS and Fiery
      system

      The medication helps though...

I am unable to print a configuration page because I cannot log into the server from my laptop. For some reason it is not visible on the network I'm thinking because this fiery came off another machine and is second hand, that it's network protocols need to be reset to my network. Also the second I press the fiery icon on the copier it just goes straight to the password there's no way to print a configuration page.

ive used the password.ps file many times in the past. not sure if it works on the 420s. probably will.

log in as CWS guest if you have to and send the .ps file through the DIRECT queue, not the print queue or setup a printer on your PC using LPR, IP address and queue name (direct instead of print) and the password should print out between 2 quote marks.

            also...
https://www.copytechnet.com/forum/te...76#post308376m in cast the password prints a whole page.

This problem is now solved. The password was on the silver sticker it was the serial number of the machine itself. After entering in that as the password I was allowed to go in and change all the network configuration as well as print a configuration page.Screenshot_20240922_002927_Messenger.jpg
