i dont know why this would matter but it is a direct print restriction.

    ill keep looking.

also found this gem, have you tried a 2gb stick?
External memory function Supported external memory devices• USB flash memory compatible with the USB (1.1/2.0) interface• FAT32-formatted memory device• Not including security features (Possible to turn OFF security features)• Memory capacity of 2GB or less recommended.• A USB flash memory that appears as multiple drives on a computer cannot be used.
Thanks for trying to help me.

Switch # 251 is set to 0, which is default setting.
Also, I believe this only concerns PSWC, not local interface.

    I have tried 512MB, 32GB, and 64GB. I don't have 2GB drive.
It is strange they recommend memory size under 2GB while using FAT32. There is 2GB limit with FAT16, but not with FAT32. All other features (scan to USB, saving settings) worked fine with both 64GB and 32GB drives.

      copiers are dumb.
ive used a 4g drive for everything konica that could use a flash drive.
an 8g i can scan to and print from but never got it to do FW from any 8g drive ive bought.
the 512 should have worked to print a file from unless the copier is that finiky.
there is a list of approved flash drives floating around here but thats just for firmware usage IIRC
i know it sounds silly and others here have had much better luck with larger drives, i am not one of them.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

This may be your problem. I discovered that our Konica Minolta printer won't print from flash disks formatted with exFAT. They must be formatted with FAT32. exFAT is a more modern, improved version of the FAT family of multiplatform file transfer devices, such as flash disks or USB memory sticks. All FAT-formatted drives have inferior security and memory safety characteristics compared to modern file systems: NTFS for Windows PCs and APFS for Apple computers, but these file formats or systems are not multiplatform, so they are never used to format USB flash disks.
