I am having an issue with a Konica Bizhub Press C7000. The toner is not being removed automatically from the Transfer Belt Cleaning Unit. The drive gear part #65AA77840 in the back of the machine that is suppose to run the upper toner waste collection doesn't seem to be rotating. Is there a way to test that motor? The machine is operating and printing normal except for the removal of the excess toner collection in that section. Anybody have any other ideas to try or test? Thanks, Mike

Thanks Synthohol for the info! I was able to check the motor and the shaft is spinning but the gear isn't. So it looks like I need to replace that small gear. Do you know if you it's possible to remove the whole transfer/developer unit (on the slide rails) so I can get to and replace the gear easier or would that mess up the whole registration of the machine? Thanks, MikeComment

8.jpg id make super-sure the tubes arent clogged.
can you turn the assy by hand in any way to see if its free?
there are posts here about tearing into that assy and cleaning out the augers if thats the case.
iirc you should be able to see the augers turning through the holes in the back with the carriage pulled out.
ive seen them clog at #8 too.
i get luck with a combo vacuum and air can and a lot of tapping.

also here is the procedure.
just take out the carriage first, its easy but heavy. best to unload the units first.

Thanks for all the info! Once I get some free time in the next couple days I will make sure to check for a clog before getting too deep into taking everything apart. I REALLY do appreciate the quick response and the help! I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks Again!👍 1Comment
