C3320i Fax Card go in Receive Mode

Hello folks,
Our customer have 2 machine received seit one week. Both are C3320i with Fax Card. The other've no problem with fax.
If Itry to send a fax, ghe Fax Card go in Receive Mode and not Tx Mode. I have Fax Card initialized , deinstalled and new installed.

Does "Empfang" disappear if you unplug the fax cale and re-appear instantly once you re-connect the cable?

In case it does you have to tweak the cable so that only the middle two wires @rj11 connector are routet towards the other TAE/RJxx connector.

I'll try next time. But the machine dials the number correctly aber it is expecting a fax from the called machine and does not even scan the sheet from the ADF or scan glass.

Weird.... most of my techs have a test-telephone in their carstock, cheap and nothing fancy but it's good if you need to test a line. If the customer have two MFPs you can also move the workin one to the non working one (or vice versa) in order to see if the issue is related to the MFP or line. Usually it's a line issue.

Did you perform the VoIP tweaks via SP?

I saw this once before on a C368 with a 3rd party app that took over the API..Touching off hook put the machine in fax receive and it would sit there waiting for the fax to come in..You may try going into the open API settings and clear any apps that might be present. We opened a ticket with SSD on this and they said it could not be resolved. If you removed the app the fax worked just fine. E

I've solved the issue importing a standard config with an usb stick.. thks all
