[Jamming] FD-503 Folding issues.

Hey there so I have a FD-503 folder that usually has a problem pop up every couple months without fail haha. Today's problem is strange. The double parallel folding mode is having issues with folding in the correct place. The first 3-4 pamphlets fold perfectly fine (front and back right hand edges are alligned) but after that the front cover begins to recede away from the back edge of the pamphlet. Eventually, the offset between the two gets too great and it jams. I've gone through the folding unit and cleaned all the rollers I could reach but I've seen minimal improvement.

As you can see on the last image the pamphlet will continue to fold further and further from where it should. Any ideas?

we had this type of issue on a completely different finisher (FS534) When doing the TRI-FOLD it would do the same, the only thing that helped was the anti static brushes (in TSB'S guide), replaced them all and finisher works fine

Thanks, I'll look into that. Shortly after I posted, the finisher started working quite better. Still does it sometimes but makes me think that you are both right about the static being an issue. Maybe humidity in the paper issue as well.
