Developer BK series C452 C552 C652

Good morning,
We have some old C452 C552 C652 series machines whose consumables are difficult to find in Spain.
I need to change some black developer. Customers do not want or can change. I have a compatible developer that indicates changing the dip-SW 7-0: 1 when using this developer.
Does anyone know what function this change executes?
On the other hand, does anyone know how to get the developer life to be initialized so that it can execute the TCR adjustment. We have chips and a recorder, but I don't have any file to record as a new unit. Does anyone have the file?

Buenos dias, disponemos de algunas maquinas antiguas serie C452 C552 c652 cuyos consumibles son dificiles de encontrar ya en España. Los clientes no quieren o pueden cambiar
Necesito cambiar algun revelador de negro. Dispongo de revelador compatible que indica cambiar el dip-SW 7-0 : 1 cuando se utilice este revelador.
¿Alguien sabe que funcion ejecuta este cambio?
Por otro lado alguien sabe como conseguir que se inicialice la vida del revelador para que ejecute el ajuste del TCR. Disponemos de chips y grabador, pero no tengo ningun archivo para grabar como unidad nueva Alguien dispone del archivo

Wow. Quite an old copier. As far as I'm aware, you don't need any decoders. By changing the chip, the copier will initialise the dev. I don't know about the SW, but I don't see any reason to adjust it. Empty the old dev thoroughly and replace with new. Then replace the chip. I personaly always changed the image units as a whole, but this could work too.

I do not have the new chip, the one in the photo is used so the unit will not initialize and the TCR values are wrong. If the ideal was to change the entire unit, but now it is difficult to find and at very high prices

Personally I'd not refill a development unit, as it's only a matter of time before the refilled unit starts dumping developer and creating all sorts of havoc with the machine and feed units.

Yes, you are absolutely right, but we have some retired units in good physical condition.
