M1 transport motor load check

Hi, i want to do a load check on the M1 tansport motor that drives the K developper.C224 In the manual, it's noted that "the transfer belt must not be in K pressured position" before doing the check.
can someone please explain to me what they mean by that ?

It requires you to remove the transfer belt and K drum before running that particular load check in order to prevent damaging them.

If you are just trying to isolate noise, it probably won't do any harm to run it for 1 or 2 seconds.
