Hi gang!
We're a Develop dealer and predominantly buy Develop branded toners direct from them... we do occasionally buy some Genuine Konica branded Toners though.
We have a few refurbished Konica machines out but 90% are Develop.
The last few months we've had issues with Develop machines not accepting Konica branded Toners.... never had this before and it's only been on A3 i-series devices, when customer fits a new (Konica) cartridge sometimes it just doesn't accept it as a new one or sometimes it'll reset the gas gauge and go for a short period before stopping and saying toner empty again. Even if you reset the cartridge with Engine FW Switch etc it won't last.
Everytime it's happened we've fitted a new Develop branded toner and all is well again from then on....
Anyone else having this? have they changed Chips / Firmware etc to stop interchangability again like they were years ago?
