Konica 1050 touch screen problem!

Good evening, I have a very strange problem.
The touch screen does not work on a konica 1050.
I have changed 3 screens, the cable and the board and it still does not work.
has such a problem happened to anyone else?

Maybe some blown ICP. Check their locations in service manual.

A suggestion on a work around - although you probably already know this - until you get the actual screen sorted.

We have a c7000 that intermittently loses the function of it's touch screen panel and on one occasion the screen itself went weird.
You can remote into the panel and therefore control all the functions available via the panel, and more in fact as if at the panel. All you need to do is to ensure that the IP address of the mac/pc you use to remote in on is listed under the management tab via the web access pages. Sorry this is rather vague, I'm at home so can't run through the exact method here. But I use this method to remotely control the touch panels of all our KM machines from my desk, because I mind three machines and sometimes am too lazy to get out my chair and go to the machine, especially when I've sent a job through CWS and forgotten to change the paper settings on the press after loading the paper and before sending the job through. It is slower this way as you have to wait in-between each click on a button for the page to refresh, but it works.

In case anyone needs to do this, here is a method to gain web access to the "Remote Panel" to remotely view and control the screen and buttons of the machine:
The method may vary slightly from model to model, but the theory should be similar, it is on all the machines we have had over the years.

Remote into your machine: In your browser enter IP address of the printer - not the IP of the Fiery - "Web Utilities" screen will come up. "webtools' screen is the fiery
Check access is permitted: Click/Select option called "Remote Panel" - You'll either see a remote version of your panel or "Access is denied (Unauthorised PC)" message
To authorise MAC/PC: Click back page on browser, Click/Select "Machine Manager Settings", enter the username (admin) and password
- this password is the "administrator authentication password" not the service mode password
- the one you enter when you access [Utility/Counter] ---> Administrator Settings
Select/click "Remote Panel Setting / Job History Setting"
Enter MAC/PC IP address in one of the "IP Address for access permission" fields - in case you don't know your PC IP, it is usually shown below these fields
To save entry click "Registration" button usually below all the fields, then click "Main Page" to take you back to the original menu
Click/Select "Remote Panel" - you can now acess all touch panel and pad functions - the image below is what our c7000 panel looks like on my mac & PC

Yes
It's a bit clunky but yes you can, exactly the same as on the machone itself.
All you have to do is find where on the web version they have placed all the equivalent buttons, lets just say it's not logical.
So, on the image I posted before, The [Utility/Counter] button is at the top of the screen, you then enter the usual SM password by clicking in the relevant button images on the right.
The key aspect to note is that you must let the webpage refresh (it does automatically) before you click the next required button, you'll also hear your machine acknowledge the button press as it would if you were to press a button on the machine itself - assuming the "bleeps" are turned on.

One point to fill out a little more is regarding the refreshing of the webpage when using the remote panel.
The webpage only refreshes after you have selected an option, clicked a button.
So if you are running a process or even a job and using the webpage to monitor what is going on, you will need to manually refresh the webpage, press F5 etc.
What I sometimes do when I want continuous monitoring is to turn on my web browsers auto refresh function for say every 5 seconds or something, depending on what monitoring I'm doing.

Just tried on 1100, SM works.
Only thing is when inputing stop00stop01 it must be pause betwean every input about 1 second to let page refresh like you mention.
It will be good if this procedure works when machine is in error state, i must try that, could be very useful in some situations.

Dumb suggestion, but did you click "clear" first?
I have always done that before the first Stop.... and it definitely works on all ours this way.
There of course will always be the machines on which it doesn't work!
