Strange hole punch glitches on C450i / FS-539

This is a weird one, but customer claims they are setting up several jobs at a time with 2 sided, hole punch on left selected. They then send the jobs and they are claiming some of the jobs are coming out stapled on the right, instead of on the left. I have defaulted the print driver to 3 hole left punch and updated firmware. I feel like it could be a default setting in whatever application program they are using, since they are sending several different jobs at once, then coming back later when they are done.
Has anyone seen glitches like this occur on multiple large jobs?

Yeah, this is a default driver config and firmware issue. Stapling on the right is the default option for when finishing is turned. Make sure the hole-punch is turned on for 2-3 hole and show your customers the "binding position" option in the driver.

The question is can they show you what they did claim when you are on site.
I almost always find them simply being mistaken or something... went wrong
