458 Protocol Errors

Knowledge Base was no help. Have Changed multiple settings in SM to no avail. Initalized fax as well.
Can send all day long just fine. When receiving a multii page fax it will usually fail halfway through and delete. It will retry and complete the job.
A machine 15ft away receives faxes just fine.
Any ideas?

Update the firmware.

Also check the fax line is good. Any crackle etc on the line will cause the fax to fail.

Temporary move the machine to one next to it and use working fax line to see how it goes.

I agree, try and hook the machine to the other fax line and see what happens.
If you can transmit without problem but won't receive (with the same destinations) I think it's not a problem with the FK514.
