    Konica 4020i 5020i CQ light

The 4020i / 5020i are proving to be nearly bulletproof machines. (Brother 6900 series) Only frequent complaint customers often have is that prints look fine but copies are lighter than desired.

It seems - There is no way to permanently default the copy exposure to much darker as a default. It must apparently be changed each time a copy is made. Or a shortcut can be programmed with a darker setting. Very cumbersome and annoying for the user. Does anyone have a workaround?

Yes set copy density to +1 via web interface.
You're absolutely right they are great I mean 6900 series.

Figures they are great because it's not a Kon/Min design. Same as the older Biz 4750 etc which were Lexmark made.
